Hot on the heels of the N1 mini announcement, looks like OPPO has also released the R6007 for the Chinese market. Phonearena is even calling it the Find 7 mini.
Despite the Find 7 like appearance, what’s on the inside is actually very similar to the N1 mini. OPPO is also highlighting the glossy back and it is said to have a hard coating that’s been provided by MSK, Japan. It seems that OPPO has added some kind of AR function to the video capture feature and users may also be able to capture images as a GIF file, complete with audio. This is something that Nokia already has with their cinemagraph feature. The Super Zoom function is here as well and the camera upscaling combines 6 different shots into one single 24 MP image.
Here are the things we think we know so far:
- 1.6 GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 400 CPU and Adreno 305 GPU.
- Runs ColorOS based on Android 4.3 Jelly Bean.
- 4.7”, 720 x 1280 HD screen with a pixel density of ~312 ppi.

- Has GPRS, EDGE, HSPA+ and 4G LTE.
- 8 MP rear camera with LED flash and 2 MP front camera. Aperture is rated at f/2.0.
- 2,140 mAh battery.
- Dimensions 137 x 68 x 7.75 mm and weighs about 128 g.

The R6007 has been posted (registration of interest again?) on OPPO’ online store for China and is expected to be available tomorrow. The device will only be sold in China for now and has an asking price of CN¥1,799 (~RM 929). We will update when OPPO Malaysia provides more information.
